Make the beta reading process easier by using this non-fiction beta reading report template created by Ready2Publish.
This is the same template used by me (Claudia) and my associates when we beta read manuscripts.
On this template, you can find 46 questions for the OPENING SCENE, CONTENT AND ORGANISATION, READABILITY AND CLARITY, PACING, SETTING AND WORLDBUILDING, DIALOGUE, CRAFT, TARGET AUDIENCE AND VOICE, POTENTIAL WEAK SPOTS, and MORE! There is even room to add your own questions in the QUESTIONS FROM THE AUTHOR section.
As some non-fiction manuscripts use DIALOGUE (for example, animated history books with a character that takes you through the chapters), there is a 'dialogue' section on the form. If you do not need this part, feel free to delete or adjust it.
The Beta Reading Template is a digital product designed to assist authors in gathering structured feedback from beta readers. It is provided in a downloadable format and can be used for personal or professional projects.
