Draft 2 Novel

Ready2Publish is here to take away the guesswork. With easy monthly payments during your writing journey, you can relax knowing that professional editing is all taken care of.

Writing a novel takes time, and self-publishing can be trickier and pricier than you might expect.

To help with that, I’ve created monthly payment plans so you can write with confidence. When it’s time for beta reading, editing, and all the other stuff, you won’t have to scramble for help online.

Self-publishing a book can be a costly business. There are many steps to take between writing your first draft and uploading your manuscript onto self-publishing platforms. While some people manage to do a lot of these things themselves to keep costs down, most authors prefer to hire professional editors and cover designers to ensure their books are everything they want them to be. And why not? If your hobby was cycling or scuba diving, you put money towards it, right? So why not put money towards your writing?

With the Draft2Novel package, you choose which self-publishing services you require assistance with. Starting a payment plan while you are still writing your book means the editing bill won’t be that scary when you’re ready for beta reading, copyediting, proofreading, formatting, etc.

I can assist with all those things. I can even help you upload your manuscript onto the platforms you want them to go on.

  • You will get access to an online Notion portal for easy collaboration and self-publishing advice

  • Beta reading (2x):
    after you finish your first draft;
    after revising your first draft

  • Copyediting

  • Cover design*

  • Proofreading

  • Formatting (e-book and print)

  • Uploading your manuscript to self-publishing platforms**

*Cover design is an expense not included in the monthly payments. Cover design can be anything from £100 to £1,000 (depending on the artist and your vision). However, I’m happy to offer advice and feedback regarding cover design.

**The monthly payments do not include ISBNs because (and this list is not exhaustive) some people may have purchased ISBNs previously and do not need to purchase a new one; some may wish to use a free ISBN as provided by a self-publishing platform; and some countries offer free ISBNs.
